Matthew Clements is a British second assistant camera and clapper loader. Born in 1990 in Kingston upon Thames, England, he began his career in the UK film industry's camera rental sector with ARRI Rental UK. After gaining extensive technical experience with camera equipment and production logistics, he transitioned to on-set work in the camera department, serving as a camera trainee. His feature film work includes The Boys in the Boat (2023), Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025), and Avengers: Doomsday (2026). Earlier in his career, he gained six years of in-house experience at equipment-rental and crew-services companies such as Onsite and ARRI Rental, which helped establish his technical foundation and understanding of camera systems and on-set workflow. Having lived in many parts of the United Kingdom, he is based in Oxford, England.
