McKenna Cook is a film and television editor based in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from the University of Colorado Denver, where she studied from 2016 to 2020. Before moving into scripted television, Cook worked as a freelance video editor and videographer and as a primary editor with Dead Medium, editing projects including promotional videos for Denver Fashion Week and music videos. Cook began establishing herself in television post-production in 2021. She worked as an assistant editor for Bodega Pictures from July to December 2021. She was selected as an American Cinema Editors (ACE) Intern in September 2021. She worked on the first season of This Fool (2022) at Hulu, then worked as an assistant editor on two episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six (2023) for Prime Video and Amazon Studios. She joined Marvel Studios as an assistant editor on Echo (2023), where she was credited as first assistant editor across all four episodes. From December 2023 to July 2024, Cook worked for HBO as an assistant editor and additional editor on Dune: Prophecy (2024). Cook subsequently worked as an assistant editor and additional editor on Amazon MGM Studios' Overcompensating (2025), working on three episodes. She has since moved into picture editing, receiving an editor credit on Marvel Studios' VisionQuest (2026). Alongside her television work, Cook has maintained credits as a short-film editor. She edited Mother Knows Best (2020), on which she also appeared as an actress, and Birds of a Feather (2022). She also served as a producer and costume designer on The Sear (2018). Her work on The Sear earned her a nomination at the 2020 Web Series Festival Global, where she shared the Festival Award nomination with Sofia Shappell, Andrew Tennison and Jaime Zurzulo.
